Dear Mrs Steel

Thank-you for being a great Deputy Principal by helping Mrs Driver and for helping everyone with countless things like emailing the morning messages to us every day. If you weren’t around, I don’t know what the school would do without you.

Dear Vicki

Thank you sooooo much for always being there for us. We are so grateful to you and wish that you would never ever, ever leave. The reasons I am thanking you are because you mark our spelling, choose the best workers for poems, sign our diaries  and you read a book to us each week in the library.

Kind regards

Macy

Dear Mr Leslie

I would like to give a kind thanks to you for all your hard work in our school, as you have contributed hugely to making our school a safer environment. I really appreciate your effort to make our school a safer, cleaner and most of all a better place to be. I understand that being a Property Manager is a tough job but it’s also very important and therefore, you are just as important as the rest of the teachers. Imagine our school without you! Nobody to blow the leaves away, bark all over the courts, oh how messy it would be! This school wouldn’t be half as clean as it is now without you! You mean the world to us Mr Leslie… you really do.

Sincerely
Ben

Dear Mrs Robinson

Thank you for teaching me English. Now my English is better. When I came here I didn’t even know my ABC. I can now read the same books as the children in my class. I liked learning the Sports words because I am Sporty Steven!

Nicole, Liam and Joey covered in mud!

Our three enviro monitors went to the beach today with Mrs Daniel and MrsVenville to do the 2 metre square project. I wonder what they found in the area they searched.

Nicole's Did You Ever Poems

Did you ever...
Go to Disneyland
In Las Angeles
Hearts beating
Kids laughing
People eating
Love it!

Did you ever...
Go ten pin bowling
In Botany
People scoring
Kids cheering
Hearts beating
Try it!

Arts Week Dragon Art

Today we started our art unit with Ms Maloni. We are working to complete a piece of art for our calendar art and a piece of art for the School Art Exhibition.
We started with a story, Ignis. After that we looked at pictures of different dragons. Next we practised sketching the parts of a dragon...head, wing, foot and tail. What a lot of super artists we have in Room 18!

Nicole's Autumn Poem

             Autumn

Birds tweeting
Darting
Branch to branch

Disco Trees
Shining Green,
Red, Purple ,Orange and Yellow

Squeaky shoes,
Splashing friends
In muddy puddles.

The wind whistles excitedly
Taking the lazy leaves with it
